Phyllis Smith came out of retirement to reprise her role in Sadness for Jigsaw 2

Story

A sequel in which Riley enters puberty and experiences entirely new, more complex emotions as a result. As Riley tries to adjust to her teenage years, her old emotions struggle to adjust to the possibility of a replacement. She asked Pixar to find her a recording studio in Missouri because she wasn’t going to go to Los Angeles just for the sake of it. As Riley grows older, her feelings become more complex, and therefore new characters (emotions) appear.

Are these emotions repressed?

But does this mean that her parents (and possibly other adults) who have grown and developed even more will experience not only these emotions but even more emotions in their control rooms? During the post-credits wall with both parents, there is a flash of anxiety, but nothing else. Or are they hiding as Riley’s nostalgia? This was also the case in the previous film, when the adults of the Control Rooms looked as developed as children and had the same amount of emotions.

Maybe we can’t

Although, to be clear, the aforementioned wall in the middle of the credits pretty much suggests that anxiety and other new emotions are usually kept in place by the main five emotions at the end, and only occasionally do they seem to express their fears, which explains their complete absence in the first movie. Joy: I don’t know how to stop the anxiety. Maybe it will happen when you grow up. You feel less joy.

When I first heard that Pixar was making a sequel, I was very excited because I absolutely loved the trailer and thought it looked good for a modern movie and I walked away sobbing as for me. I had terrible anxiety for years until I finally got over it and watching the movie from that perspective made me cry at some of the lines Trevoga said simply because I had said them in the past it depicts the life of teenagers, from the struggle to fit in, from the feelings associated with the arrival of friends, from thinking less of myself, etc.

Personal feelings aside, this movie was really amazing

I found one scene particularly difficult and I cried simply because it gave me time to think about who I was before. The animation was incredible and the plot was surprisingly good. I liked the new emotes and they are just as good as the first (almost better)
